Pro Steam Machines is operated by Cleaning Equipment Services Ltd, company number 04784777, registered in England and Wales. Our registered office and contact address is Unit D, 16 Peter Road, Lancing, BN15 8TH. VAT number: GB780891982.

Consumer change-of-mind cancellations

If you are a consumer buying online or by telephone, tell us clearly that you wish to cancel within 14 days after the day you, or your nominated recipient, receive the goods. If goods in one order are delivered separately, the period normally runs from receipt of the last item. You may also cancel before delivery.

Email sales@cleanes.co.uk, write to Unit D, 16 Peter Road, Lancing, BN15 8TH, or telephone 01903 755128. Include your order reference and contact details. You do not need a reason or our permission to exercise a statutory right. The model form below is optional.

Return the goods within 14 days after telling us you are cancelling. Contact us so we can help coordinate a safe return; that coordination is not a condition of the cancellation right. Pack equipment securely and keep evidence of return. Original packaging is helpful but is not a condition of your statutory rights.

For a consumer change-of-mind cancellation, you pay the direct cost of returning the goods. This does not apply to faulty or misdescribed goods where we must bear reasonable necessary return costs. We do not charge a restocking fee for exercising your statutory cancellation right.

For a consumer change-of-mind cancellation, you pay the direct return costs. Estimated return transport for machines that cannot normally be posted: £70 + VAT (£84 including VAT). This is an estimate, not an automatic fee or an additional checkout delivery charge. Faulty or misdescribed goods are treated separately: we bear reasonable necessary return costs where the law requires.

Refunds following cancellation

We refund the goods and the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery option. Any extra amount you chose to pay for a premium delivery service need not be refunded. Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee.

For returned goods, refunds are due without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive the goods back or evidence that you sent them, whichever is earlier. Where we have offered to collect, that withholding rule does not apply; refunds are due within 14 days of being told of cancellation. If goods were never supplied, the applicable refund deadline runs from cancellation.

You may inspect goods as you would reasonably in a shop. We may make a lawful deduction for reduced value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of goods, but not an automatic handling or restocking charge.

We will not assume a standard electrical, hose or package selection is personalised. Any genuine cancellation exception must be identified and explained before an order is made; statutory rights for faulty or misdescribed goods still apply.

Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods

Tell us promptly about a fault, transit damage, missing item or incorrect description. Give your order reference, a description and, if helpful, photographs. A request for evidence does not remove your statutory rights. Stop using unsafe equipment; do not undertake electrical or boiler repairs yourself.

Consumers normally have a short-term right to reject non-conforming goods within 30 days, and applicable rights to repair or replacement and then a price reduction or final rejection where the legal conditions are met. Within the first six months, a fault is generally presumed to have been present at delivery unless the contrary is shown or that presumption is incompatible with the goods or fault.

We bear reasonable necessary costs of returning faulty or misdescribed goods where the law requires. Contact us to arrange suitable transport for heavy equipment. A commercial warranty does not replace or shorten statutory rights.

Business purchases

Business buyers do not normally have the consumer 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right. Contact us before returning non-faulty business purchases so we can agree whether a return is accepted and any arrangements in writing. No automatic discretionary business-return period or restocking charge is promised.

Business fault claims are handled under the agreed contract and applicable law. The machine and boiler warranty commitments remain as described on our Warranty page.
